Top 3 Blogs

Natasha’s blog had me drawn in instantly with her use of funny memes to make the blog have a humorous, personal feel. Even though the company didn’t seem all that interesting, bolt and gaskets aren’t my thing, I still found it an interesting and easy read.
I believe this blog was presented so simplistically, I found reading it easy and it did not once feel as though I was reading off some essay. The information wasn’t overwhelming and was enough for me to understand without having to even visit the company website.

This blog is again set out simply and made for an easy read. The information on the company was very informative. I particularly like in this blog how there are detailed posts on her different views about the business decisions that have been made over the few years.

We will make electricity so cheap that only the rich will burn candles - Thomas Edison

Dyesol's financial reports are very... interesting to say the least.
It starts with the Chairman's letter which provides an excellent description of what the company are trying to achieve, he states more than once of what a low cost renewable energy approach they are taking. Only briefly at the bottom does it mention that the majority of revenue is relied upon by shareholders investment, with 303,326,443 shares I can see why. It began to make me question if there are that many shares then why are there no dividends declared or paid to this date?

The company has many shares across the globe including just starting a new deal with Saudi Arabia. Dyesol are both a manufacturing and service firm, receiving it's revenue from both sales of goods, service fees and shares.

The company had a loss of $12,578,057 for the year of 2014 but sat with their equity at $13,234,171.

It seems this firm is set up with machinery, employees, equipment and shareholders, but is waiting for the boom in renewable energy to provide the influx of customers.

Brief information on my company

Dyesol is an Australian clean tech company that provides Dye Solar Cell (DSC) chemicals, components, equipment and knowledge globally. It was formed in 2004 and now has partners with many leading multinational companies. One major push this company has is it to create glass and metal buildings from DSC components to make them energy efficient. It seems as though this company is standing for all the right things with the world at a point of turning towards green energy.
